Primary and Secondary Students Visit Zhuizhu 3D for 3D Printing Science Study Tour

A science innovation study tour was successfully held at the factory of Zhuizhu 3D Technology, attracting groups of primary and secondary students to experience the whole industrial chain of 3D printing.
Under the guidance of professional technical instructors, students first visited the production workshop of 3D printing filaments. The tutor introduced the complete manufacturing process of PLA consumables, including raw material mixing, high-temperature extrusion, water cooling shaping and finished product winding, helping teenagers build a basic understanding of new material manufacturing.
After the workshop tour, students moved to the computer classroom to learn basic 3D modeling skills. Every student designed their exclusive keychain models independently, and received one-on-one professional guidance on dimension adjustment and model optimization.
In the hands-on printing session, students operated desktop 3D printers in groups. They uploaded self-designed models and observed the layer-by-layer forming process of printing materials. After printing, they polished the rough edges of their keychains to get unique hand-made works.
At the end of the activity, all teachers and students took a group photo with their finished 3D printing works. This immersive study tour combined industrial observation and practical operation, effectively stimulating students’ interest in additive manufacturing and science and technology.
