PLA+ is an impact-modified polylactic acid compound built on the same plant-derived biodegradable 3D printing material base as standard PLA, upgraded with a toughening agent. Parts printed in PLA+ take noticeably more impact and bend further before breaking, while the printing behaviour stays as forgiving as PLA: low odour, low warping and no enclosed chamber required.

It is the practical choice for users who have moved beyond decorative models and need jigs, fixtures, brackets, housings and prototype parts that survive drops and daily handling.

• Toughened Impact Strength Charpy impact strength of 5 – 8 kJ/m², roughly double standard PLA, so functional parts resist cracking when dropped or clamped.
• Higher Elongation at Break 15% – 25% elongation lets snap fits, clips and living hinges flex instead of fracturing.
• Low Warp and Stable Dimensions Low-shrinkage formula keeps large flat parts flat; a 50 – 60 °C heated bed is enough, with no enclosure needed.
• Precision Winding and Feeding Diameter tolerance ±0.02 mm and roundness ≤ 0.03 mm give steady extrusion, fewer clogs and consistent layer bonding.
• Universal Printer Compatibility Runs on mainstream FDM printers with a standard 0.4 mm nozzle at 205 – 225 °C, no hardware change required.
