Record of Campus Science Tour: 3D Consumables Production & 3D Modeling Printing Practice at Zhuizhu 3D

1. Factory Workshop Visit & Lecture

Professional instructors guided students to visit the whole production line of 3D printing filaments on site. They illustrated the complete manufacturing process of PLA filaments, including raw material mixing, high-temperature extrusion, water cooling shaping, winding and vacuum packaging, helping students gain intuitive knowledge of new material production technology.

2. 3D Modeling Practical Class

All students moved to the computer classroom to learn basic 3D modeling operations. They designed personalized keychain models independently, with tutors providing one-on-one guidance on size adjustment and model error repair.

3. Hands-on 3D Printing Production

Students worked in groups to operate desktop 3D printers, uploaded their self-designed models, and observed layer-by-layer material forming throughout the printing process. After printing, they polished the customized creative keychains to finish their works.

4. Activity Summary & Group Photo

After all practical sessions, teachers and students gathered to take a group photo to record this meaningful science popularization study tour.
